This Privacy Policy explains how NeuroDigital ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Calorie Counter by NeuroDigital mobile application (the "App"). By using the App you agree to the practices described here.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or health data to any third party.
Google Firebase
We use Firebase Authentication, Firestore (database), and Firebase Storage to store your account, nutrition logs, and photos. All data is stored in Google's secure cloud infrastructure. Firebase is governed by Google's Privacy Policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
Google Gemini AI
When you photograph food, the image is sent to Google's Gemini AI API to identify food items and estimate calories and macronutrients. Images are processed transiently for analysis; Google's data handling for the Gemini API is governed by the Gemini API Terms of Service.
Google Sign-In
If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from your Google account. We do not receive your Google password.
Your data is stored in Google Cloud (Firebase) with encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is restricted to your authenticated account. We implement industry-standard security practices; however, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at miguelfhulyalkar@gmail.com. We will delete your account, Firestore records, and stored images within 30 days of your request.

Permissions are requested only when needed for a feature and can be revoked in your device settings at any time.
The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
